Scientometric study of research output of Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science since 1995 to 2019

Abstract


This study highlights the growth of research output in Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS), the first research institute of India (Estd.1876 CE) in terms of publications output as reflected in Scopus since 1995 to 2019. Research publications since 1995 to 2019 are analyzed that focused on studies related to growth of literature, authorship pattern, author productivity analysis, journal distribution pattern, and citation distribution pattern. The total research publication output of IACS figures 7426 since 1995 to 2019. The highest ACPP was observed in 2003 (35.28). The study showed that Journal of Chemical Physics published maximum number of articles (264) followed by Chemical Physics Letters (226) and Inorganic Chemistry (215).
